I've discussed this with several people at CA, but I wanted to put it out here for others as well. I feel like the Essentials package of Connex, which was offered to our customers for free last year, should be combined with MobileTicket (replace the PDF ePOD with the completed MobileTicket PDF and give the customer access to Connex at the Essentials level). Make this a part of the fee that concrete producers pay for MobileTicket. I feel like we have given the customers a taste of this over the past year and don't want to take it away; and for many who don't do large jobs the essentials package is completely suitable for their needs. If they want more, then they can pay for it to add functionality. But at the basic ticketing level, it is up to us as the producers to provide them with that as part of the concrete sale, and I think most would agree that having some customers on Connex, some on MobileTicket, and some still on paper tickets just creates more work than any of the eTicketing solutions eliminate. Combining MobileTicket and Connex Essentials solves most of these issues.
We are actively working to provide a 'customer portal' (for the buyers), which much like MobileJobsite, the buyer can login and access orders and tickets, and even place order requests.
